Hey, folks. Since today's the 1st anniversary of me starting the Facebook page for my novel (as well as the 21st anniversary of starting work on the novel itself), I figured I should give y'all some kind of update. Sadly, I haven't found another publisher for "Swords & Sixguns" since getting let go by Permuted Press earlier this year. That's partly my fault, as I've only sent out a couple of queries (which went nowhere, so the other part is on the publishers who turned me down).
I have been working on other things, though. I finished a comic-book script that -- I hope! -- will make it into a Western anthology sometime in the near future, and I've been drafted to act as co-writer on a novel set in the 1960s. I also got dragged back to my fan fiction roots by the founders of the DC2 site, who are busy putting together a little ditty called "Omega Crisis". And as always, I'm running the Jonah Hex, Via Pony Express Facebook page, which just started its annual FOREVER HEX event today.
So while I haven't been idle, I have been neglecting Richard. Sorry about that, buddy. In the next few months, I'll clear away all this other crap and get back to making you famous.
